The AED Plus® Fully Automatic AED is designed to help rescuers respond confidently to sudden cardiac arrest by providing both defibrillation and real-time CPR guidance. Because every sudden cardiac arrest victim requires CPR even when a shock is not advised, the AED Plus® features ZOLL Real CPR Help® technology to monitor CPR performance throughout the rescue.
Real CPR Help® provides real-time audio and visual feedback on the depth and rate of chest compressions, helping rescuers improve CPR quality. The AED can instruct the rescuer to “Push Harder” when deeper compressions are needed or provide reassurance with a “Good Compressions” message when compressions meet appropriate depth requirements. The fully automatic design further simplifies the rescue process by automatically delivering a shock when one is required.
