The Plus® & Pro® Pediatric Stat Padz™ are pediatric electrodes designed to provide appropriate defibrillation support for younger and smaller patients. Designed for patients under 8 years of age or weighing less than 55 lbs., these electrodes work with ZOLL AEDs equipped with intelligent pediatric capability.
When pediatric electrodes are connected, the AED automatically recognizes them and switches from the adult ECG analysis algorithm to a pediatric ECG analysis algorithm. This helps simplify emergency response by allowing the AED to automatically adjust its analysis for pediatric patients. The electrodes have a two-year shelf life for dependable emergency readiness.
