The AZORP Kit (Arizona Omni Rigging Pod) is a versatile rigging accessory designed to expand the capabilities of the Arizona Vortex® system. Developed by Reed Thorne and refined through extensive testing and field applications, the AZORP provides multiple rigging configurations for technical rescue, rope access, and specialized rigging operations.
This innovative two-in-one rigging pod consists of an Inner Pod and Outer Pod that can be used together or independently at various locations on the Arizona Vortex legs. Machined from solid T-6 aluminum, the AZORP delivers exceptional strength and durability without the use of welds. The pods can also be combined as a two-flange rigging pod when used with a Vortex leg compression member, providing additional rigging flexibility for complex rescue scenarios.
The included storage bag is constructed from rugged, water-resistant 1,000-denier CORDURA® nylon and features a quick-draw closure, external carabiner loop, and dedicated pocket for storing the quick-release pins.
