Designed for a secure, customized fit, the mask features an adjustable, replaceable nose bridge that contours closely to the face while reducing fogging of goggles and glasses. Adjustable DuPont™ Kevlar®-covered elastic ear straps provide a comfortable, reliable fit, while the ergonomic 3D design with side pleats minimizes fabric contact against the nose and mouth for improved breathability and comfort.
Constructed with PGI's BarriAire™ quilted composite featuring a DuPont™ Nomex® Nano Flex particulate barrier, the mask delivers an average particulate filtration efficiency of 96% for particles between 0.1 and 1.0 microns. Independent testing has also demonstrated a Viral Filtration Efficiency (VFE) of 96.8% and a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) of 97.9%, helping protect against a wide range of airborne contaminants.
The flame-resistant construction provides excellent protection against heat and flame without melting or dripping, while moisture-wicking fabric draws perspiration away from the skin to help keep the wearer cooler and more comfortable. Machine washable and reusable, the BarriAire™ Comfort Plus™ mask eliminates the need for disposable replacement cartridges, making it an economical solution for routine use in demanding environments.
