The Arizona Omni Rigging Pod (AZORP) Outer Pod is a versatile rigging accessory designed to expand the capabilities of the Arizona Vortex® multipod system. Developed by rescue expert Reed Thorne and extensively field-tested by Ropes That Rescue, the AZORP system provides additional rigging options for technical rescue, rope access, confined space, and industrial applications.
Machined from a single block of T-6 aluminum, the Outer Pod delivers exceptional strength and durability without the need for welded components. The pod can be mounted at various positions along the inner or outer legs of the Arizona Vortex®, allowing rescuers to create customized anchor and rigging configurations. When paired with the AZORP Inner Pod and an Arizona Vortex® leg compression member, the two components can function together as a two-flange rigging pod for even greater versatility.
