The Cordura Extra Large Ladder Boot is designed to protect firefighters from the exposed base of ladders mounted on fire apparatus while also helping improve scene safety. Engineered for multiple ladders, this heavy-duty ladder boot cushions protruding ladder ends to reduce the risk of injury and provides a highly visible warning to personnel working around the apparatus.
Constructed from durable Cordura® nylon, the Extra Large Ladder Boot is padded with high-density foam that absorbs impact and shields firefighters from exposed ladder hardware. The attachment system features heavy-duty 2" webbing and 2" Velcro® on both sides, creating a secure double-shear locking flap that keeps the boot firmly attached during apparatus travel and emergency response.
A reflective "STAY BACK" safety strip is sewn onto the exterior to increase visibility in low-light conditions and provide an added safety reminder around the apparatus. Finished in high-visibility yellow, the Cordura Extra Large Ladder Boot is built for long-lasting performance and is ideal for protecting multiple extension and roof ladders mounted on fire trucks.
