The Cordura® Ladder Boot is designed to protect firefighters from the exposed base of single roof ladders while they are mounted on a fire apparatus. By covering protruding ladder ends with a durable, padded protective cover, this ladder boot helps reduce the risk of injury to firefighters and protects surrounding equipment during transport and storage.
Constructed from rugged Cordura® nylon and padded with high-density foam, the Ladder Boot is built to withstand the demanding conditions of the fire service. An improved attachment system utilizes heavy-duty 2" webbing and 2" Velcro® on both sides to create a secure double-shear locking flap that keeps the boot firmly attached during apparatus movement. A retaining strap provides additional security, while the sewn-on reflective "STAY BACK" strip enhances visibility and reinforces safety around the rear of the apparatus.
