The CSR2 Pulley is a high-strength confined space rescue pulley engineered for raising, lowering, and hauling operations in rescue, industrial, and technical rope access environments. Classified to both NFPA and EN standards, the CSR2 combines lightweight construction with exceptional strength and efficiency while accommodating life safety ropes from 11 mm to 13 mm in diameter.
Designed with CMC's patented locking system, the CSR2 eliminates the need for a toothed cam or Prusik, allowing the system to be safely released while under load—even when fully collapsed. An integrated thrust-bearing swivel automatically aligns the pulley with the load, reducing torque and improving system efficiency. Machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, the CSR2 features sealed bearings, anodized aluminum sheaves, and a removable becket cover for use with sewn rope terminations.
