Description
The Kimtek FIRELITE® Deluxe Truck Skid Unit is a complete wildland firefighting and rescue slip-on skid designed to quickly convert a full-size pickup truck or flatbed into a capable brush truck. Ideal for fire departments, forestry agencies, DNR, National Forest personnel, military installations, and industrial facilities, the FIRELITE® combines dependable firefighting performance with integrated patient rescue capability in a compact, low-profile design.
Constructed with a rugged all-aluminum frame, bright aluminum diamond plate, and aluminum tubing sub-frame, the FIRELITE® is built for long-lasting durability while maintaining a low center of gravity for improved off-road stability. Available with either a 200-gallon or 300-gallon fully baffled poly water tank, each unit includes an integrated 5-gallon foam cell, Scotty® Through-the-Pump Class A Foam System, and a Darley-Davey® two-stage high-pressure pump powered by a commercial-grade Honda engine. The system is capable of drafting from water sources up to 19 feet deep and delivers reliable fire suppression performance for wildland, rural, and urban interface operations.
The integrated rescue area features stainless steel grab rails and included Velcro® D-loop straps for transporting a patient on a Stokes basket or long backboard, while the enclosed hose storage area provides room for hard suction hose, forestry hose, nozzles, and additional equipment. A pre-connected Hannay® electric rewind booster reel, all stainless steel plumbing, brass quarter-turn valves, integrated tank sight gauges, and reinforced skid plate complete this versatile firefighting and rescue package.
