Compatible with tripod, quadpod, and davit systems, the device mounts quickly using locking pins or can be suspended from an overhead anchorage using an optional carabiner. A large rubber-coated control knob allows operators to easily engage or disengage retrieval mode with one hand, while precision internal components and a weather-resistant cast aluminum housing provide dependable performance in demanding environments.
The unit features two independent braking systems for enhanced worker safety. An energy-absorbing centrifugal brake arrests a fall within 24 inches to reduce impact forces, while a secondary friction brake automatically engages whenever raising or lowering stops, securely holding the load in position. Each unit is supplied with a permanently attached locking swivel snap hook for direct connection to a full-body harness.
