Designed for firefighters and rescue personnel, this harness converts compatible 543NYC Series NFPA Class II harnesses into NFPA Class III harnesses, expanding capabilities for fall protection, rescue operations, and personal escape applications.
The harness features Gemtor's exclusive AirFlo™ breathable X-style back and shoulder pad, which improves airflow and helps distribute weight more comfortably during extended wear. Constructed from durable 1-3/4" nylon webbing with high-strength stitching, the harness is designed to withstand the demanding conditions encountered in fire service and technical rescue environments.
A hybrid leg strap design combines the mobility of a traditional Class II harness with the additional support of rescue-style wraparound leg straps. The integrated A-frame assembly includes a sliding D-ring for attaching a personal escape system and a triple-action aluminum carabiner. Multiple attachment points at the sternum, A-frame, and rear dorsal location provide versatility for fall arrest, work positioning, rescue, and escape operations. All attachment points are tested to applicable NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI standards.
