The Universal Escape System Bag provides a durable and convenient storage solution for firefighter personal escape systems, including the Sterling F4 and Petzl EXO. Designed to hold up to 50 feet of 7.5 mm rope, the bag keeps critical escape equipment organized, protected, and positioned for rapid deployment when needed.
Designed for compatibility with the 541NYC and 546NYC Series Class II harnesses, the bag attaches directly to the harness waist belt and can also be used with most externally worn harnesses. Its universal design allows the bag to be worn on either the right or left side, accommodating a variety of turnout gear configurations and individual preferences.
The bag is available in two material options to meet different operational requirements. The 556C is constructed from rugged Cordura® ballistic material for exceptional durability, while the 556FR uses flame-resistant PBI®, Kevlar®, and Arashield™ materials for additional protection in demanding fire service environments. An isolated descender compartment helps prevent abrasion between the descender and rope, while the bag positions the descender carabiner close to the harness sliding D-ring for a clean and efficient escape system installation.
