The Kussmaul Auto Current A-6 is a current-sensing and auxiliary-input control device designed to provide remote indication when monitored electrical loads or connected switches are activated. The Auto Current A-6 senses current flow from 0.10 to 4 amps through electrical loads connected in series with the sensing terminals. An additional ground-activated auxiliary input can be connected to multiple switches wired in parallel, allowing any connected switch to activate the output independently of the current-sensing circuit. When activated, the output relay cycles ON and OFF to create a flashing warning signal. This combination makes the Auto Current A-6 ideal for DO NOT MOVE VEHICLE indicators, open compartment door detection, and other emergency vehicle warning applications. The standard unit supplies +12 volts to the connected indicator, while optional -G configurations are available for applications requiring the indicator to be operated by grounding.
