The Kussmaul Engine Monitor (VOTT Meter) is a digital engine monitoring instrument designed to simultaneously display critical vehicle engine and electrical system information. Featuring large 1/2-inch high-visibility green LED digits, the monitor displays DC battery voltage, engine oil pressure, engine temperature, and engine RPM on a single screen for convenient system monitoring.
Designed to receive engine data through J1939 communication, the VOTT Meter features a user-selectable baud rate of 50, 125, 250, 500, or 1000k bits. Built-in programmable alarms monitor engine RPM, low and high oil pressure, high engine temperature, and low and high battery voltage conditions to help operators quickly identify abnormal vehicle operating conditions.
A four-button keypad with on-screen menus provides straightforward configuration of functions and alarm settings, while four selectable display brightness levels improve visibility in changing operating environments. The monitor operates from 9.5 to 33.0 VDC and features a low-power sleep mode that draws less than 20 mA to help conserve vehicle batteries.
Designed for fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, and other emergency or specialty vehicle applications, the VOTT Meter features a waterproof instrument face and provides centralized monitoring of critical engine and electrical system information.
