The Kussmaul LPC 45 is a compact, high-output battery charger designed to charge and maintain a single 24-volt battery bank in fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, ambulances, and other emergency or specialty vehicles. Delivering a 45-amp charging output with a three-step charging profile, the LPC 45 provides dependable battery charging performance in a lightweight, low-profile package.
The charger provides clean electrical output designed to minimize interference with radios and other sensitive mobile electronics. An auxiliary 24 VDC, 15-amp output circuit with a power source selector switch allows the LPC 45 to support accessory loads such as air compressor pumps, hand lights, and handheld radios.
Front-panel connections provide convenient integration of remote displays and auxiliary electrical loads. Remote battery sensing helps compensate for voltage drop caused by longer charging cables to provide accurate charging performance at the battery.
