Activated using a momentary switch, the Safety Lock 3 bypasses the vehicle's ignition switch, allowing the operator to remove the ignition key without shutting off the engine. The system is designed to work with a foot brake switch, neutral safety switch, or parking brake switch. If any of these controls are operated in an attempt to move the vehicle, the Safety Lock 3 immediately disengages and interrupts the ignition circuit, shutting down the engine. Once the authorized operator returns, simply inserting the ignition key and turning it to the ON position restores normal vehicle operation.
