The RICE Hydro FH3 Fire Hose Tester is an electric-powered hydrostatic test pump designed to safely and efficiently pressure test fire hose up to 6" in diameter. As RICE Hydro's most popular fire hose tester, the FH3 delivers 3 GPM at pressures up to 500 PSI while providing dependable performance, precise pressure control, and rugged durability for fire departments, hose service companies, and maintenance facilities.
Powered by a 1 HP TEFC electric motor with 110/220V operation and 50/60 Hz capability, the FH3 features a triplex ceramic plunger pump with an internal oil bath for smooth operation, extended service life, and increased stability. The heavy-duty manifold incorporates four independently controlled stainless steel outlet ball valves with NST couplings, allowing multiple hose sections to be tested simultaneously while maintaining complete control over each outlet.
Exclusive to RICE Hydro, the innovative No Wild Lines system utilizes a strategically placed inlet ball valve that allows hoses to be filled with high-volume, low-pressure water before switching to low-volume, high-pressure testing. This unique design helps eliminate the conditions that can cause dangerous hose movement during testing, providing safer operation and more consistent results. Protected by a rugged welded heavy-gauge steel roll cage and equipped with durable 4" casters, the FH3 is built to withstand years of demanding service. Custom-built configurations are also available to meet specialized hose testing requirements.
