The SuperPASS® 5X NFPA Stand-Alone PASS combines the proven protection of the SuperPASS® 5 with advanced RF accountability and emergency communication capabilities. Designed to function independently of an SCBA, the SuperPASS® 5X provides continuous firefighter protection while enhancing incident command accountability through automated PAR, EVAC, and MAYDAY acknowledgment features.
The SuperPASS® 5X helps keep radio channels clear during critical incidents by allowing accountability communications to occur through intelligent RF technology rather than voice radio traffic. Incident Command can immediately identify which personnel have acknowledged PAR or evacuation commands and quickly determine who may require assistance. Because the SuperPASS® 5X remains operational whether or not a firefighter is wearing an SCBA, it helps maintain NFPA 1500 compliance during overhaul operations and other hazard-area activities where SCBA use may not be required.
