Utilizing Tempest's exclusive Laminar Air Flow Technology, the specially engineered grille and Turbo 2000 shroud create a focused, high-pressure airflow that overcomes the internal back pressure commonly found in large buildings and stairwells. Unlike conventional PPV fans, the SP fan delivers maximum performance from an extended setback distance of 25 to 30 feet, allowing firefighters to keep entry points clear while reducing noise levels inside the structure.
Powered by a dependable Honda® GX Series gasoline engine, the fan features an 18-inch AirFlex® fiberglass-reinforced polyamide composite impeller that maximizes air volume, velocity, and pressure.
