Engineered to provide up to 40 minutes of continuous full-speed operation, the VS1.3 utilizes up to three removable DEWALT® FLEXVOLT® 60V 12Ah batteries and features intelligent Dynamic Battery Control for optimized charging, discharge, and system diagnostics. Shore Power capability comes standard, allowing uninterrupted operation whenever AC power is available. The lightweight tapered steel shroud, 18" AirFlex® fiberglass-reinforced polyamide composite impeller, and thin-vane air straightener grille work together to deliver an AMCA-certified airflow rating of 9,614 CFM for exceptional air volume, velocity, and pressure.
Designed for demanding fireground conditions, the fan features an IP65-rated variable speed motor, integrated LED Flow-Path lighting for improved visibility in smoke-filled environments, and a patent-pending ergonomic frame with transverse wheels for superior maneuverability and stability. Despite its full-size performance, the VS1.3 measures just 23" L x 25" H x 11" D and weighs only 51 pounds with three batteries, making it easy to transport and store. Conversion kits are also available for upgrading older Tempest VS-series fans to the DEWALT FLEXVOLT platform.
