The Folding Choc with Spring Assist builds on Ziamatic's popular SAC-44-E Folding Choc with an upgraded torsion spring that assists with opening for improved ease of use and user safety. Designed for tires up to 44" in diameter, this compact wheel choc provides dependable vehicle stabilization while folding down for space-saving storage on fire apparatus.
Constructed from high-tensile-strength aluminum, the choc features a large rear-opening hand grip and an "Easy-Grip" carrying handle that helps protect fingers and makes transportation and placement easier. A double row of rugged teeth helps grip virtually any firm surface. When pushed closed for storage, a locking bar with an auto-locking latch securely holds the choc in its folded position. The compact design requires only 6" H x 10-1/2" W x 20-3/8" D of storage space and can tuck beneath the apparatus running board. The choc is NFPA and SAE J348 compliant, third-party tested, and made in the U.S.A.
