The Manual Vehicle Steps are heavy-duty slide-out steps designed to provide safe, convenient access to pump panels, hose beds, and other elevated areas of fire apparatus. Each step slides out when needed to create an optimal stepping distance and easily tucks away when not in use.
Constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy and steel, the steps are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance and can be retrofitted onto existing apparatus. The open diamond-pattern stepping surface allows mud and debris to fall through, helping maintain traction in demanding conditions. Available in four widths, each step supports a 500 lb. static load and meets NFPA requirements for slip resistance and static load.
