The Ziamatic QUIC-LOCK Mechanical SCBA Bracket w/ Optional Pull Release is an easily adjustable, strapless SCBA mounting bracket designed to securely retain breathing apparatus while providing fast, straightforward release. The optional pull release features a longer release cable than the standard model, providing greater flexibility when positioning the release stalk inside the apparatus cab.
The QUIC-LOCK uses a flip-down, PVC-coated top clamp and adjustable footplate to securely lock the SCBA cylinder by its ends. To secure the cylinder, place the SCBA valve into the footplate, lower the top clamp around the cylinder, and pull up on the red locking knob. When the SCBA is needed, simply pull the release cord. The bracket fits most SCBAs with only minor adjustments, can be easily retrofitted into new or existing seats, and works with most center pull releases.
