The Ziamatic QUIC-SLIDE Swing-Down SCBA Bracket is a compartment-mounted SCBA storage system designed to let firefighters comfortably don breathing apparatus from a choice of two different heights. Ideal for moving spare or first-attack SCBAs outside the crew cab, the QUIC-SLIDE provides convenient access to compartment-stored air packs while helping reduce firefighter exposure to harmful contaminants.
The bracket slides out of the apparatus compartment and locks into position, allowing the firefighter to don the SCBA from the higher stored position or swing the assembly down for lower access. Three locking points securely hold the assembly in place, while spring clips and a positive holding strap retain the SCBA. By bringing heavy air packs to a more accessible position, the QUIC-SLIDE helps reduce overhead reaching and strain while also making SCBA and harness inspections easier.
