The Ziamatic QUIC-SWING Flip-Down 180° SCBA Bracket is a compartment-mounted SCBA storage system designed to allow firefighters to safely and comfortably don breathing apparatus from a standing position. Ideal for moving first-attack SCBAs outside the crew cab, the system provides convenient access to compartment-stored air packs while helping reduce firefighter exposure to harmful contaminants.
The bracket slides outward over the compartment lip and then flips end-over-end, lowering the SCBA to a convenient donning height. Storing the SCBA facing the rear of the compartment helps protect straps and hoses from being caught or damaged by the compartment door. A tray lock and backplate lock secure the assembly during storage, while spring clips and a positive holding strap keep the SCBA firmly retained. The design also reduces the need to reach overhead for a heavy air pack and makes routine SCBA and harness inspections easier.
