The Emergency Plug® will communicate with the cars software by making it think the car is charged. As a result of this, it will not be possible to operate or drive the car off.
Built-in Extras
- Universal will fit into any electric car and plug-in hybrid socket using type 1 or type 2.
- Includes an adapter for the Tesla Super Charger port. The North American Standard for Tesla vehicles.
- Equipped with a self-test function. Pressing a button lets you check if the Emergency Plug’s software works correctly before connecting. When correctly operated, the luminous edge of the Emergency Plug will illuminate green and is ready to use.
- The Emergency Plug illuminates blue when active, letting you know the vehicle is safe to approach.
- An electric car usually locks the charging plug to prevent theft. This makes it virtually impossible to disconnect while charging. The Emergency Plug has been designed to disconnect whenever needed, allowing for easy release.
