Pre-shrunk material includes an elastic opening around the face. This combination ensures a consistent fit wash after wash, aligns with an SCBA mask and enhances air circulation. Merrow-stitched seams plus a five-thread cover stitch and wear-resistant binding prevent curling and unraveling, strengthening its construction for everyday use and extending its lifespan.
What is Nomex®? Created by DuPont™ and a staple of fire hoods, this meta-aramid material uses a unique chemical structure to resist flames and uphold its performance properties. Comfortable and breathable fibers carbonize and absorb heat, rather than combust or melt, and further resist electrical current.
