The Syntho-Plug Golfball Activated Foam Leak Plug is a water-activated polyurethane foam plug designed to provide rapid, temporary sealing of leaks caused by hull damage, punctures, and other breaches in vessels, tanks, and containment systems. Measuring approximately 1.5" in diameter with a half-round profile, the plug remains pliable during installation and quickly expands and hardens upon activation, creating a durable seal that dramatically reduces liquid flow.
Ideal for marine emergency repairs, spill containment, and leak mitigation applications, Syntho-Plug can be used on fiberglass, steel, aluminum, and wood surfaces in fresh, brackish, or saltwater environments. Once activated, the plug can reduce water ingress or liquid discharge from approximately 280 GPM to less than 1 GPM, helping protect equipment, reduce environmental impact, and provide valuable time for permanent repairs.
